The idea for Abe Jones Designs came to co-founders Janel and Amy in early 2005. The two began their creative collaboration by sewing fabric patches onto t-shirts that belonged to Amy's children. After many late nights honing their technique, they had their first trunk show in March of 2005. The response to their products was overwhelming, which made them appreciate the size of the market for uniquely styled clothing for children.
On her own since 2007, Janel has expanded the collection to include not only the classic Abe Jones tees and lounge wear, but an emerging and ever changing range of pieces inspired by Janel's love of vintage patterns and sophisticated, yet playful, fabrics. The collection includes many styles that you would want to wear yourself!
All pieces in the Abe Jones line are currently manufactured in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Abe Jones is always looking for new retailers who are interested in carrying the collection as well as enthusiastic sales representatives to get the word out about the line.
